How net pay in Singapore is calculated

Singapore employees under 55 contribute 20% of wages to CPF, up to the ordinary-wage ceiling. Income tax is charged separately on the progressive resident scale from 0% to 24%, but it is assessed annually and paid later, not deducted each month.

CPF and earned-income reliefs reduce the chargeable income. The calculator shows CPF and the annual tax so you can see both take-home and the tax bill. Estimate, not tax advice.

Worked example

S1 60,000 SGD, age 30
Gross annual salary (SGD)60000
Employee CPF (20%) 12000

Net / year (after CPF & tax) 46890
