How чиста заплата in Bulgaria is calculated
Bulgaria pairs a modest social system with the EU's lowest flat tax. Employee insurance is 13.78% of gross, capped at a monthly ceiling, covering pension, health, unemployment and sickness. Bulgaria adopted the euro on 1 January 2026, so all figures here are in euro.
