How Данък МПС (vehicle tax) in Bulgaria is calculated
Bulgarian car tax is set by the municipality and built from engine power in kilowatts. The per-kW rate rises with a power band, and an age-and-emission coefficient adjusts the total.
Newer, cleaner cars pay less through the eco coefficient; older cars pay a higher factor. Rates are illustrative and vary by municipality. Estimate, not tax advice.
