How sueldo neto in Mexico is calculated
Mexican payroll deducts employee IMSS social-security contributions and withholds ISR income tax from gross.
ISR follows the monthly Article 96 tariff: eleven brackets from 1.92% to 35%, each with a fixed quota plus a marginal rate on the excess. The employment subsidy of 535.65 MXN a month then reduces the tax for anyone earning up to 11,492.66 MXN. Estimate, not tax advice.
