How nettó bér in Hungary is calculated
Hungary runs one of Europe's simplest payroll systems: a flat 15% personal income tax (SZJA) and a flat 18.5% social contribution (TB), both on gross, so net is a clean 66.5% of gross for a standard case.
Under-25s are exempt from income tax up to the average-wage cap, and various family and mother exemptions further reduce or remove the tax. The under-25 toggle applies the youth exemption. Estimate, not tax advice.
