How motorsteuer in Austria is calculated
For cars first registered from October 2020, Austria's engine-related insurance tax (motorbezogene Versicherungssteuer) is a monthly charge: 0.72 EUR for each kW over 65 plus 0.72 EUR for each gram of CO2 over 115.
