# LTO Registration Fee — Philippines car tax

Source page: https://valem.run/calculators/philippines/car-tax

The Philippines' annual LTO registration for private cars is based on the vehicle's gross weight band.

**Tax year:** 2026

## How it is calculated

The Philippines charges an annual LTO registration fee for private cars, based on gross vehicle weight: 1,600 PHP up to 1,600 kg, 3,600 to 2,300 kg and 8,000 above.

An emission test, compulsory insurance and any penalties add to the total. The calculator returns the weight-based base fee. Estimate, not advice.

## Worked example

With Gross vehicle weight of 1,500, this model computes Annual registration of 1,600 PHP.
