# ხელფასის კალკულატორი — Georgia net salary calculator

Source page: https://valem.run/calculators/georgia/net-salary

Your Georgian net salary is gross minus a 2% pension contribution (for participants) and a flat 20% income tax on the remainder.

**Tax year:** 2026

## How it is calculated

Georgia has one of the simplest payroll systems anywhere: a flat 20% income tax, plus a 2% employee contribution to the funded pension for participants (mandatory for citizens under 40).

The pension comes off first, then the 20% tax applies to the remaining amount. That makes the take-home easy to compute and easy to check against the Revenue Service. Estimate, not tax advice.

## Worked example

With Gross monthly of 3,000 GEL, this model computes Net / month of 2,352 GEL.

## What this page claims

The Valem engine reproduces this model's formula through 2 self-test cases. That shows internal consistency, not that the formula matches current law; the cited sources are the evidence for that. Estimate, not tax advice.
