## How it is calculated

Finland's ajoneuvovero has a CO2-based base tax that rises with emissions, from about 53 EUR a year for a clean car up to a cap.

Diesels also pay a driving-power tax by weight; EVs pay a small driving-power component. The calculator uses the CO2 base. Estimate, not tax advice.

## Worked example

With CO₂ of 120, this model computes Vuosivero of 140 EUR.
