# Cálculo De Vacaciones 2026 — 14, 21, 28 O 35 Días Corridos

Source page: https://valem.run/calculators/argentina/holiday-entitlement

Article 150 of the Ley de Contrato de Trabajo gives 14 días corridos up to five years of seniority, 21 over five and up to ten, 28 over ten and up to twenty, and 35 beyond twenty. They are consecutive calendar days, so 14 of them is about ten working days on a five-day week. Seniority is measured as it will stand on 31 December.

**Tax year:** 2026

## How it is calculated

*"De catorce (14) días corridos cuando la antigüedad en el empleo no exceda de cinco (5) años."* Four bands: **14** up to five years, **21** over five and up to ten, **28** over ten and up to twenty, **35** beyond twenty. Each boundary reads *"no exceda de"* — does not exceed — so five years is still in the first band and ten is still in the second.

**The word that decides what these are worth is corridos.** Días corridos are consecutive calendar days, weekends inside. Türkiye publishes fourteen days too, and article 56 of its labour law excludes the weekly rest day and public holidays from the count — so fourteen there means fourteen days of actual leave, and fourteen here means about **ten**. Identical headline, four days apart.

**Seniority is measured on 31 December, not on the day you go away.** *"...se computará como tal aquélla que tendría el trabajador al 31 de diciembre del año que correspondan las mismas."* Pass five years in November and the 21-day band applies to that whole year, including the January you spent in the 14-day one.

**There is a gate, and it is a proportion rather than a count.** Article 151 requires service on *"la mitad, como mínimo, de los días hábiles"* of the year — at least half its working days, counting public holidays you would normally have worked. Below that, article 150 does not apply at all and article 153 substitutes **one day of rest per twenty days of effective work**.

**Two rules on timing, not length.** Article 151 requires the leave to begin on a Monday, or the next working day if that Monday is a holiday, with a separate rule for people who work on otherwise non-working days.
